Some might judge me a misanthrope and sociopath for what I'm about to say. There'll also be those who'll attempt to psychoANALyse me — “He is so negative... He has deep negative emotional issues... He needs 'anger management'...” and other crazy assumptions about me.
I. Declaration and Disclaimer ― Fuck-proofing my own backside
I do not give a shit about what 'others' think of me and I care less about my own
opinion than the people and groups that my opinion might offend. However it's
prudent that I state some ideas at the outset very clearly:
1. I'm only one man with an opinion.
2. I don't give a shit about how other people choose to live, but I can comment should I be moved by the spirit of the moment.
3. All 'mistakes' are errors in THINKING.
4. Observing and enjoying other the consequences of other people's mistakes (aka schadenfraude) is better than watching movies. 'Edutainment' produced by Nature.
5. I don't give a rat's arse whether people like me or not — unless they're planning on physically harming me. In such cases I'll defend myself to remove these 'threats' as best I can, so I can continue entertaining myself and enjoying life.
6. I don't trust anything about government or The State.
7. I don't trust any political process, least of all 'demo-crazy'.
8. The People Get The government They Deserve — the type of political ideology doesn't matter.
9. The State/Government invariably fucks everything up, and under a representative political system everyone is suppose to share the blame, but the government gets off Scott-free everytime, unless there's a popular revolution or coup.
10. The Individual is Sovereign and Free, but these attributes do not come 'naturally'. Freedom is never free — it requires specific individual ACTION directed to purposeful GOALS.
11. Almost all intellectuals are socialists who in a heartbeat will demand that the government 'controls' and 'socially-engineers' (aka nation building) society, but first the government has to strip individualism so that everyone is 'equal'.
12. The free-market is the only (spontaneous) institution that ensures sustainability to human life and civilization.
13. Free-market activity is intensely rivalrous, insanely competitive, brutal and fast, but the end results (long-term payoff ― when selfish objectives have been achieved) is cooperative, benevolent and relaxed.
14. Most intellectuals (who are mostly free-market failures) despise these attributes and are constantly screaming for more government intervention to punish or at the very least discourage individualism. (I.e. Force everyone to be 'equal' and forcibly 'unite' them. Then it becomes a whole lot easier to manipulate the masses of Sheeple)
15. Intellectuals have a cosy relationship with the state which 'pays-off' these intellectuals in the form of grants and subsidies or tenure at State-run tertiary institutions. The job of the intellectuals is to spread government propaganda to 'control' the minds of the hapless citizens.
16. Religion is bullshit.
17. Politics is bullshit.
18. I am both a spiritual and political Atheist
19. Collectivism kills freedom.
20. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
21. Neither ideology, politics, governments, group-mind or über-human can alter objective reality which is the expression of the natural 'laws' of the universe. Subjective reality (the shit in your head) is open to design, wishful thinking, hope and anything else the mind chooses to invent.
22. Everyone behaves selfishly all of the time.
23. No ancient mystical code (aka religion), fatuous political doctrine (e.g. Marxism, Fascism, Asian Values) or TV-ready professional moron or New Age Neurotic (e.g. Oprah Winfrey) will ever succeed in changing the fact that people will behave in ways they think will directly benefit themselves.
24. People respond as individuals to incentives. If particular human behaviour is rewarded the result is more of that behaviour over time.
25. Having wealth and a high net worth are not the same thing.
26. Everyone dies. But not everyone chooses to live when they had the chance.
Now that the housekeeping is done, let's get down and dirty to start off 2009.
[ I'll be happy to clarify any points, but I will not engage in debate with anyone who disagrees any of these ideas ― see points 1. & 2.]
II. Evaluating Previous Predictions ― “Was I right, or was I right?”
So here we are, in the year 2009. The world has been hammered by the consequences of severe economic distortions, global security risks everywhere, TV programming is still contributing to the fall in IQ, political and religious ideologies are still murdering thousands... but all is not lost ― there is still an abundance of ice cold beer, smokin' hot women (and men), cheap party drugs everywhere, cheap airfares to get to the places with the cheap party drugs where people can dance to shitty music, eat the 'exotic' (so-called) local food (pig-swill dressed up to con tourists) and shop for worthless nonsense (“Cheap! Cheap!”), maxing out their plastic and drawing down on capital stock in the process.
Yes folks, the idea of borrow, spend and party ― “Let the good times roll!” ― mentality was alive and well as the euphoric masses lived for the day. Politicians ― always quick to seize the opportunity for a photo-op or some form of political leverage rushed up the podiums to 'remind' the masses what a fantastic job the government was doing 'looking after the people'.
One of the skills an astute sovereign Individual ought to have is the ability to translate Politicalese into plain, simple language. The phrase “looking after the peoples' interests” when properly translated means:
“While you the masses were getting soft, being mislead by the intellectuals and the mass media (which we control), dropping your vigilance and having a good time and getting sexually stimulated from watching your assets and wages rise to celestial heights, We The Government, our pals in Big Finance were colluding to fuck you up good and proper by stealing your shit. The plan is to relieve you of your assets and control your lives so that you end up serving OUR interests ― it is 'better' that way, so in fact we are looking after YOUR interests”.
Any which way you translate it the reason for the use of Politicalese is to legitimise some form of IMMORAL activity.
Conclusion
It would seem that my predictions have so far come to pass: the state is getting more powerful, people are being plundered more, and although they'll whine and complain about it, most people still prefer to bury their heads in the sand, buy the bullshit spewed by the lapdog media and state-funded intellectuals, get high, party, eat too much, borrow and spend, and continue believing that “the government will save me”. But just in case, the people have a back up plan: they'll pray to some mystical being or beings which apparently have 'magical' powers ― powers which are able to intercede and outrightly break the physical laws of the universe, in order to ALTER THE OUTCOME of events. (aka “miracles” aka “magic”).
In other words, humankind has 'progressed' to a point where Individual Responsibility (the pre-requisite for Sovereign Individualism) is no longer required. The government will look after everything. If they can't, the god, gods, goddesses, fairies, angels and goblins will. With all that magical power, what's the point of worrying?
Thus I'm happy to announce that the course is exactly to what I've predicted: MATILAH. The 20-30 year time frame seems about right too.

III. Value Adding ― More Entertaining Content From The Sheeple
Episode 1 ― “Like Every Casino, We Own The Chips”
Emergence of a Super-Elite: Merchantilism redux. The nexus between Big Government and Big Finance will grow. As private firms are 'bailed out', they'll become increasingly nationalised. If you think government market-oriented enterprises (GLCs) are big now, you ain't seen nothing yet. But ask yourself this ― where is the money going to come from to fund these Super-Elites?
You. The Super-Elites, now a democracy unto themselves will vote YOU to pay. The SEGEs (Super Elite Government Enterprise) can tax, borrow and inflate (since they're the ones who have a monopoly on printing money aka 'legal tender'). If they tax, you pay. If they borrow, you pay. If they inflate you pay. Either which way you look at it, you pay by democratic theft where everyone robs everyone else to pay for shit no one wants to pay for in the first place.
Yes folks, the government will be looking after you in better and more effective ways.:)
Episode 2 ― “Place Your Bets!”
Society will continue to fall apart. Crime rates will rise as people abandon common-sense and classical mores and traditional moral norms. The underlying philosophy will continue to move steadily to “the end justifies the means”. And why not? That's what the Super-Elite governments and their cronies are doing. Why shouldn't the people do the same?
Gambling will also increase. Again, why not? The Super-Elites in the finance division are inveterate gamblers themselves constructing ingenious instruments (so-called 'securities' ― a definite oxymoron) which promise lottery-like returns. These instruments are given the respectable name of derivatives. They are made up of all sorts of stuff : debt, debt converted to equity (by 'magic'), voodoo, mathematically transformed by indexes, squared and/or cubed, take the cosine of this, and the log of that, multiply by the dogs balls, divide by the square-root of Jessica Alba's arse... and voila, you have a 'derivative', which people can gamble with. No wonder Warren Buffet called derivatives “financial weapons of mass destruction”. However if you are the dude putting together these 'securitites' you are laughing all the way to the off shore bank. [Factoid: Earnings of top hedge-fund managers USD887,000]
Not to worry if the derivatives fail. The Super-Elite government will come to the rescue and bail everyone out.

Episode 3 ― “Brainwashing The Children”
The cost of education is sky-rocketing and will continue. More people are going into tertiary education and paying for it by going into debt. But here's the rub: many more graduates will be unable to find well-paying jobs in the increasingly un-free market. Result: McDonald's will be hiring 'better educated' burger flippers, so whilst waiting for your Big Mac, Coke and fries you could engage in a stimulating Platonic dialectic with the crew member serving you. Fabulous!
But fear not. The Super-Elites will not allow the public education sector to fail, for it is through the public education sector that the Super-Elites have the monopoly on moulding the minds of the young to become de-individualised obedient and compliant serfs, socially engineered to serve the interests of “The Greater Good”. Politicalese translation: Serve the interests of the political masters of the Super-Elite and their cronies.
Attractive women will have the option of converting their good looks into cash-flows by renting out their vaginas in the free-market for shagging. Unfortunately for the guys ― you'll just have to continue working so you can afford to buy these moments of pleasure as a temporary respite from your lives of hard toil. But rest assured, the chick you're banging might have a PhD. Not bad. Add that to your resume, hot-shot. For you older Viagra-fed cocks out there, you might be able to bang your friends daughters ― which means you can die with at least some of your fantasies fulfilled.
There is irony in all of this, which makes these scenarios even funnier: More people are getting 'educated'. But TV, movies the media and government propaganda is becoming more inane. More people are doing really dumb shit, so what is it that these 'academics' are learning anyway?!?
At the time of this writing, there are hundreds of thousands of under and post grad students coming on line. And many of them won't be working.

Episode 4 ― “Romantic Happy Ever After's”
Suppose you are fortunate enough to be working. Is it possible that you won't have enough money to retire?
How about CPF? That wonderful Ponzi Scheme (Pyramid game) which relies on a constant flow of suckers to pay in at regular intervals. The initial design was to keep the “sucker-inflow” to always be greater than the “sucker-outflow”. However, lately there has been panic that there are too many greedy suckers who want 'their' money, and not enough sucker-inflow to keep the pyramid game going.
What to do? Have no fear ― Legitimate Theft to the rescue. STOP the greedy old suckers from getting at 'their' money by imposing a 'minimum sum' to be kept in the pyramid scheme and reduce the sucker-outflow by paying them out in 'annuity', and hope that these old suckers die so the pyramid scheme can keep on running.
The Super-Elites love this Pyramid Scheme. Call a privateer like Bernie Madoff a crook for running his Ponzi Hedge Fund, but CPF is “ok” because “the government is in-charge”. Bernie Baby gave his suckers statements of accounts. The CPF Board also gives statements of accounts. Any retard with a laser printer these days can make a statement of account or any bullshit official looking document. The money is in a pool ― the 'accounts' are just a way of legitimising the massive fraud.
Who has the balls or the resources to challenge the government? Don't kid yourself. The Super-Elites own you, and they will milk you until you croak.
“I'm ok, I have insurance”. Really? How trustworthy do you think those thieving, lying bastards are? Did you pay attention when AIG did its death rattle? Oh, don't worry ― government to the rescue once again. And the CEO and his boys ― after their fabulous Academy Award winning act of crocodile tears retired to their favourite resorts for a tax-payer funded slut-fest.
So far, no one's gone to jail ― although the list of 'victims' committing suicide continues to grow.
Ah, the heart-felt long-term marriage between the Super-Elites in government and the Super-Elites of Big Finance.
'Love', it's a beautiful thing. 'Love' conquers all ― especially if you are a disarmed serf of The State. Behold, a Political 'Love' Scene:
“Bend over Sheeple because Daddy Super Elite is going to fuck you in the arse, that's a good Sheeple. Take that Big Government Dick, take it all up your chocolate starfish... Now Daddy Super Elite and his friends are going to bukkake all over you. Oh lick up that cum, you Sheeple whore you...”

III. The Benediction ― New Year Blessings and Curses
To the masses of Sheeple who wait for 'salvation' from Messiahs of the Super-Elite and from the Celestial Realm, may I convey a hearty one-fingered salute and a loud fuck-you to you all for the New Year. Please continue with your shenanigans for you create entertaining content for all to enjoy.
From your loins, continue to spawn your horrendous mutant off-spring, for they are the political fodder necessary for feeding the insatiable on-going machinery of the Super-Elite. The quality of the human gene pool can thus continue spiraling downward the sewer. Fear not, Ye true-believers: the Super Elite will pay you to reproduce and replicate the zombies and the doomed gene-pool.
You can stand proud the day the human race extinguishes itself, and the earth ― once a truly beautiful planet ― turns into The Floating Turd of the universe, which at the very least will guarantee that aliens never visit this planet for fear of corrupting their own civilisations to the point of extinction. Alien comedians on the other hand ― garnering from the history of the now extinct human race ― will have a wealth of material for their jokes.
So keep believing in a Malevolent Universe which is out to 'get you', so you'll never ever have to take on any responsibility for yourself. Keep whining and complaining and insisting the government protect you from all uncertainty and 'bad' things, and that 'bad' things just happen to happen to 'innocent' people. Keep looking over your shoulders and jumping at shadows. Scream like little girls everytime the world doesn't go your way, or someone's opinion 'hurts your feelings' ― as if your feelings are the most important thing in the world and all of us are supposed to 'respect' that.
It's my honour and pleasure to inform you that I am going to have a Happy New Year at your expense. Please keep fucking it up so I can keep laughing. Bring on the petticoat hysterics and self-flagellation. It just adds to the hilarity!
To the real men and women out there ― the true Self-governed Sovereign Individuals ― the ones who keep it real, mind their own business, look after themselves first so that they can be there for those whom they care about: Best wishes to you, and yours. I trust that you are guiltlessly enjoying everything that you've rightfully earned, and sharing your 'happiness' with your loved ones.
Perhaps someday we might meet and exchange values, without the meddling of unwelcome guests (the Super-Elites armed with their arbitrary 'laws') in our wealth-producing voluntary market exchange.
