Force always attracts men of low morality.

The Singapore thought police have been busy trying to slam this fella behind bars by administering a typical Orwellian-style incarceration.
Fuck them. The state is supposedly run by (expensively and intensively) "educated" (so-called) people. Oh, I make a mistake. Pol Pot was "educated" in France and Stalin received a scholarship.

Does Singapore/ the judiciary need to be criticised? The question is irrlevant. But, judging by their actions in this case perhaps a good wake-up call is required. When it comes to freedom of conscience, individuals are free to express themselves in any non violent way, afterall, it is only ideas they are expressing. Don't these "learned counsels" know this?
Unthinking respect for authority is the greatest enemy of truth.

The "audience" of those ideas themsleves have the power of choice to accept or reject those ideas for their own personal reasons. It is never, and can never be the position of the state to police what goes on in peoples' minds, even if the state-officials deem (how can it? Does the state have magical mind-reading or psychic powers?) that such ideas are "harmful". (which they aren't -- they are just ideas)
Do not ever say that the desire to "do good" by force is a good motive. Neither power-lust nor stupidity are good motives.
~Ayn Rand
Unless of course you are one of those people who likes "controlling" others -- who are conducting their affairs in peaceful ways, even if their ways somehow "offends" you.
